November 12th through November 19th, 2023!
"Who can participate?"
This is a free and at-will event! Artists, writers, and more alike will be able to share their creations whether they fill just one prompt or all eight days! You can post late too if you need more time! AI generated images and fiction will not be endorsed.
"How do I participate?"
Simply post your work to Twitter or Tumblr using the tag "#QifreyWeek2023"! We will circulate all appropriate content from creators!
"Will the event allow NSFW or ABUSE?"
No. In order to make Qifrey Week accessible and suitable for all, the main Qifrey Week accounts will not be endorsing NSFW or abusive content. For more information on what is defined as "NSFW," and "abuse," please visit our page for Rules and Guidelines. Keep it PG-13 please!
"Can my work include spoilers?"
Yes, but be sure to tag your work accordingly! All recent spoilers should ideally be politely tagged either through text or built-in warning.
"Can I include other characters in my work?"
Yes!! As long as Qifrey is present in your work! Please feel free to draw him with all his colleagues, students, and friends. Orufrey and other appropriate romantic relationships involving Qifrey are also encouraged just as much as Gen work!
Rules + Guidelines
In order to keep Qifrey Week safe and accessible for all, we will not be allowing NSFW or abusive content. This means the Qifrey Week Twitter and Tumblr accounts will not be interacting or associating with any such NSFW or abusive work.
NSFW is defined as any work depicting:
Explicitly sexual content
Fetish Art
Nudity ( including artistic nudity )
Graphic violence or gore
Dark topics such as suicide, self-harm, substance abuse, etc.
ABUSE is defined as any work depicting:
Underage sexual content
Non-consent
Dub-consent
Beastiality
Pedophilia
Adult x Minor relationships
Abusive relationships
Hate speech / slurs / symbols
As a bottom line, just ensure your work is kind for those who may view it and generally within a PG rating! The mods have a final say in what is and isn't condoned.Have fun!!
